Activation code for the navigation maps BMW.
Since September 2008, the BMW brand cars began installing the upgraded system iDrive, the so-called Car Information Computer (CIC). To perform an upgrade map, you must enter the activation code. This code is unique to each vehicle.

To speed up the upgrade process, I recommend using USB Flash Drive. The update process will be much faster.
Updating Maps Navigation BMW CIC with USB Flash Drive
1. You will need a USB Flash Drive at least 16-32 Gb.
2. Format a USB Flash Drive to the file system FAT32.
3. The root folder drive usb move the folder (pkgdb) and the configuration file (config.nfm)
4. Now we are ready to insert usb drive in the glove box, we see that the system recognizes the map and asked for update activation code (FSC code).
5. You will need to do so with DVD 2 and 3
Updating Maps Navigation BMW CIC
1. Start updating system.
2. You must enter the activation code.
3. If the activation code is correct, the update process starts.
4. After the upgrade, the system will reboot.
5. Congratulations! Now you have the newest version of maps.
