What do I need to upgrade my Way head unit?

To update the Way head unit, you need to use the E-Sys cable, a laptop or PC with Internet access and the program that you will receive after ordering.

The whole process is fully automated and does not require special knowledge.

Map data, in the future, is updated from a USB stick and does not require an activation code.

The cable is not included in the price of the order and must be purchased independently!

Does my head unit support Full Screen CarPlay?

To check if your head unit supports Full Screen CarPlay, you need to know the software version:

until 18.03 (2018) - CarPlay installation is not possible

18.03 (2018) - 20.07 (2020) - do not support Full Screen CarPlay

20.07 (2020) and newer - support Full Screen CarPlay

For CarPlay to work properly, your vehicle must have a Wi-Fi antenna!

If you only need Full Screen CarPlay, update the software in the head unit.
